Breathtaking view to the lake. The hotel surrounding is lush green. The rooms are very clean. The gardens around the appartments are so esthetic and well maintained. The indoor pool is really nice. The kitchen is highly equiped with every thing needed for food prepping. Staff is nice.

We stayed in Mondi Grundlsee for 2 weeks. The first week in a smaller room and the second week in a larger, in both we paid extra for lake views. The location is incredible. The views are breathtaking, and you can walk dow to the lake (10 min) for a swim. The hotel has a lovely pool and spa with sauna, steam room, IR light room, relaxation area, etc. which you have full access to with your stay and was never too crowded (we stayed in July). Breakfast is not included as standard and is an extra charge (quite expensive). The breakfast room and setting is amazing again overlooking the lake, and we could see there was a huge variety of food on offer if we had arrived very early. The restaurant for dinner we found a little too expensive for our budget and we tended to use other restaurants in the area. We stayed in 2 different self-catering apartments and the setting was quaint, surrounded by other wooden cabins and with lovely gardens around. The rooms themselves had a small but fully equipped kitchenette stocked with good utensils and we used these daily for our breakfast and lunch - there is a little supermarket walking distance open at all hours which was really handy. The staff were always friendly, professional and so very pleasant to deal with (we find everyone in Austria very friendly to be honest!). In all, we found the hotel a comfortable base to explore the surrounding areas.

The lake view rooms have a great outlook onto the lake. Bed was fairly comfy and reception staff that we dealt with were really nice.
