The breakfast, consisting of a good cappuccino and a very rich and wholesome cornetto, was a good start into the day. The lady at the bar was very friendly! The air-conditioning/heating worked first class. Thank you for being so flexible with the handover of the room keys - it is sometimes difficult to predict the exact time of arrival when one tours a place.....The pizzeria down the road was a treat. As for the "background sound" in the piazza during the night: I am close on 70 and I love the vivaciousness of Italian life&culture. To the pilgrims who need to recover from the strains of their voyage and need complete silence during the night: you might want to change something, the pilgrimage doesn't seem to do you any good....;-)

The place was very clean and had a beautiful view of the little square — we loved spending time on the terrace! The room was cozy and full of character, and the breakfast was the best we had during our trip — simple Italian style, but the coffee and croissant were delicious!

The location was good for walking the MVF, bang in the centre close to bars and restaurants. Good value for money and there was a kettle.

Beautiful room - the design features made us feel that we were in some sort of wonderful dream. The bed is incredibly comfortable and we had a great sleep after a day of walking on the Magna Via Francigena. Wonderful helpful and friendly host. Location great, right on the main square in Grotte.
