“Hidden gem, cosy, family run boutique hotel in Grossarl.”

Where to start! Maria and her team run a beautiful hotel in Grossarl. We booked the suite because we wanted a balcony and we were not disappointed. Gorgeous view of the town and the mountains. The hotel itself is very comfortable, we used the upstairs sauna quite a bit. Beds were comfortable and the room was very clean. The breakfast were top, great selection of healthy food as well as lots of nice pastries and treats. We ate at the restaurant downstairs a couple of nights. Very fresh produce, would highly recommend the super food salad (if you’re feeling a little bit overloaded on the traditional Austrian fare!) The hotel is about a 15 minute walk to the gondolas which we used to go up the mountain and then hike from there. However, there are plenty of other hikes near the hotel that you don’t need to use the gondala for. They are well focused on sustainability too, no small bottles of shampoo or soap. And refill water. It’s good to see this. Thanks Maria and team! We had a great time and loved your hotel.

The location is great, only a 10 minute walk to ski lifts or free ski bus, and right in the village centre
