Very clean cottage with a fabulous view especially from the light and airy main bedroom. The kitchen has mugs plates etc for 6 people has a few cooking pots and pans a toaster and kettle but really no other equipment. There was no cleaning items to enable us to clean at end of visit. The cottage is lovely and comfy and in a very high area which allows great views but a steep walk up and down to railway station etc. so good for very fit people. I would visit again for the cottage not so sure about Grosmont! PS loved the bed linen!

Great location and cosy cottage. It was clean and tidy. Lovely garden at back to sit in if weather allows. Good size kitchen and cosy lounge area with tv (and sky). Main bedroom is good size and comfy bed. Clean bedding and towels was good! Well stocked kitchen of utensils and crockery. Even a few umbrellas and a torch.

Location, lovely bedding and spotlessly clean property. Well equipped with plenty of storage space in the kitchen and bedrooms. Bathroom a good size and spacious shower. It was really quiet and relaxing stopping here. The garden is lovely and has had a lot of time and care taken over it. It is very steep but a real sun trap in the evening. The dishwasher oven and washing machine all look like new. On arriving home we found that we had an RSPB guide that was not ours. We are members and picked it up by mistake. We would like to return it or pay for a new one. I must apologise about this.
