Location is perfect for those visiting events at the Suikerfabriek and nearby areas - no other way you could stay so close! The theme is fun if you like that sort of thing, the wifi worked ok, the room was comfy

Walkable distance to town. It was a new experience. Animals were cute. Eco friendly ethics. Kitchen for breakfast. More like camping as had to walk to toilet outside. Small kitchen for multiple occupants so had to wait ages to cook breakfast.

I didn't have expectations but even if I had, this stay would be simply no-words-to-describe. As soon as I entered the lodge space, I felt inside a jungle (in a good way). I love reading and movies and it just felt o-m-g! With the lodges/cabins within the nature, I could never imagine finding that so close to Groningen train station (walkable distance for sure). The best part: in the morning, the ducks, the rabbit, and peacocks! The thematic room just made me travel (further) just by opening the door. Def going back!
