Please note that only a limited number of private parking spaces is available (reservations are not possible). Public parking is possible in the surroundings at an additional cost.Please note that the access road is very steep and narrow (as seen on the photo). Snow chains are necessary in winter.Please also note that in July and August, the road leading up to the hotel is closed between 20:00 and 24:00 on Wednesdays.Please note that there is no lift available in the building.If you arrive with children, please inform the property in advance about their number and age.When booking for more than 9 persons, different policies and additional supplements may apply.Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time. A family hostel , they work hard to get the things done , a very organized lady and a very responsive gentleman, they have their own way in managing the business which I really respect , location and room view is charming , if you are looking for a central location in Grindelwald with a fair value for the money comparing to other accommodation options in the neighborhood, then this is your choice

I booked a single room here at a price I was really happy with — and it turned out to be such a lovely stay! When I arrived, the owner had even placed a little Swiss candy on the towel, which was such a sweet and thoughtful touch. The room itself was small but cozy, with everything I needed: a space to hang my clothes and a large drawer that could store so many things — I loved it! It helped me keep everything tidy and easy to access during my stay. The shared bathroom was always clean and had a pleasant wooden scent. It was rarely crowded, so I could use it comfortably at any time. The fridge is on the ground floor and, if I remember correctly, available between 15:30 and 21:30. I didn’t notice that at first and tried to use it in the morning — but the owner was super kind and immediately opened the door for me without hesitation. Breakfast was also delicious and surprisingly varied. My favorite part is the little colorful peppers and cucumbers — I had never tasted anything like them before, and they were absolutely amazing! I only tried them on my last day, and honestly, I wish I had sooner. Every day I spent here was warm and happy. I really recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and homely stay. Oh, and fun fact: I even ran into the lady owner while hiking in Männlichen — lovely coincidence!

Franzi and Marco were exceptional helpful ,good breakfast and excellent location. The B and B is very well run.
