Please note that only a limited number of private parking spaces is available (reservations are not possible). Public parking is possible in the surroundings at an additional cost.Please note that the access road is very steep and narrow (as seen on the photo). Snow chains are necessary in winter.Please also note that in July and August, the road leading up to the hotel is closed between 20:00 and 24:00 on Wednesdays.Please note that there is no lift available in the building.If you arrive with children, please inform the property in advance about their number and age.When booking for more than 9 persons, different policies and additional supplements may apply.Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation.

Beautiful location I'm the heart of Grindelwald. Easy connections for skiing. It's a family run hostel. Swiss style mutual respect between hosts and guests. They even made breakfast ready early for me one day because I needed to leave early.

The place is clean and our hosts are very hospitable, they made us feel at home (Thanks Fränzi and Marco). Our room faces the majestic snow capped Alpine mountains. We enjoyed watching cable cars going up and down the mountains, and skiers going down the slopes. And you can see typical alpine villages down the valley. The hostel is located centrally, just about 50 meters away from the main road of Grindelwald where all the shops and restaurants are to be found.

Amazing location , stunning views, really lovely breakfast with so much choice. Hosts were great, very helpful, friendly and even got gluten free bread for my husband. Nice convenient kitchen area to use in the evening.
