Please note that parking is available next to Chalet Berg Idyll. Hotel Sonnenberg is 200 metres away (slight uphill walk).If you arrive with children, please inform the property about their number and age. You can use the Special Requests box when booking or contact the property.When arriving by train, please refer to the signs and walk straight up opposite the train station. It is not recommended to use a navigational device for walking to the hotel.Please note that check-in after 19:00 is only possible upon prior confirmation by the property and at a surcharge.Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation.

This hotel has the most amazing view from our balcony - the mountains and swiss houses view are so near. Of all hotels i have stayed in, this one has the most fabulous view. Most hotels in grindelwald, you will need to wait for the bus that comes every 30min and stops at 630pm. So we decided on this one as it is walking distance from the station. Initially i was a bit concerned as reviews said it was a steep walk to the hotel, but it is only for the 2min and totally ok. Best decision to book this place! It literally takes just 5mins leisure walk to reach the main station/street. Breakfast is in a charming wooden restaurant with gorgeous views and you can ask for the most beautiful fried eggs with flower petals on them. Had them for 3 mornings n looked forward to them.

Jorg and the staff were terrific. Breakfast was great. Room was small but very comfortable. View from balcony was stunning. Lounge was very comfortable and useful as a place to relax

The owner of the property George and wife were very friendly and helpful when they greeted me at the reception. I love the design of my chalet room though it was located at the other side of the hotel which wasn’t an issue for me at all as there were just few steps away from the main reception area. There was also coffee machine inside my room which was very thoughtful. The balcony view was very nice. They even have a nicely decorated glass house in the middle of hotel and chalet area which I personally felt warm and welcomed.
