Bergwelt Grindelwald - Alpine Design Resort is absolutely outstanding. The modern alpine design, luxurious rooms, and incredible views of the Eiger are breathtaking. The spa is fantastic, the staff are warm and professional, breakfast is excellent, and the location in Grindelwald is perfect for exploring the Alps. This was our most amazing hotel experience yet. Highly recommended — we can’t wait to return!

Food service and location were excellent, a special mention to Martin in the main restaurant who helped us pick an amazing local wine to pair with our dinner. For Switzerland, we found the food and accommodation a fair price and was up to a good standard. The spa was also lovely, like most Swiss spa's, a lot of features are in a textile free section (nude) so don't let that shock you.

One of our best stays in Europe- we have had the best few days staying at the Bergwelt and exploring Grindelwald, from the other hotels we seen we think this is by far the best hotel in Grindelwald. Breakfast was included in the rate of the room and was fab, so much selection and choice from salmon and cottage cheese, cereals and greek yogurt or a hot breakfast with champagne. The spa facilities are literally gorgeous with the view of the mountains, you can use as many times as you want but need to book 90-minute slots for the jacuzzi and sauna but there is lots of availability and it’s nice that’s it’s exclusive to only a handful of people. Hotel is interior designed perfectly, it is gorgeous and fits the vibe of the alps so well and is very clean. When we return to grindelwald we will definitely stay here again, staff were so helpful and friendly nothing was too much trouble. Gorgeous view from the balcony, I even seen a little family of deers in the snow- enjoying the complimentary snacks and soft drinks in the room. Could not recommend more and great location to the train station (less than 10 min walk) and first (less than 5 min walk). You need to try Eiger Bean which is a 5 min walk from the hotel and is the most beautiful coffee location.
