Location is amazing! Snug bed in wooden alcove in dorm. Nice having the mountains to yourself after all the other tourists have gone down on the last cable car.

Unbeatable location, stayed a few nights- it's pretty busy during the day with tourists but after 6pm you get the mountains to yourself. Very positive and helpful staff. Donner was exceptional my first night. Loved my stay

Location was great. Staff was friendly. Tip: If you want to avoid the queue for cable car, it's better to go for check-in at 5 pm during summer peak season.
