The location is amazing, a few minutes walk to the ferry stop and bus stop. There’s an amazing local restaurant literally next door where we had a wonderful meal (Riviera), and another great place a few more meters down the road (Ristobar Company). The view is incredible and this is what you pay for. I was worried having read other reviews about privacy but rest assured, blinds have been put up. They allowed us to store our suitcases at the office - note this was a 1 hour bus journey from Griante to Como, but we used the opportunity to explore Como.

The apartment was gorgeous, spacious, with 2 terraces overlooking breathtaking views on lake Como and Bellagio. Port for Ferry that went to Bellagio and Varenna was just a minute’s walk. We swam in the lake since there were pebble beaches just across the street. A bus stop was also close by, plus a mini market and 2 good pizzerias. Fab location

The location of the house was ideal in all aspects and it was a perfect getaway for family/friends. The facilities were top notch with a very responsive host. We felt home for the duration of our stay here and had to leave this place with a heavy heart :) If you are looking for a spacious place right in front of the lake ( with a view of Bellagio) for your group along with space for your pet and car, please do not miss this one :)
