Breakfast was delicious and different on each day, and served with a deliciously freshly baked muffin, by Christoper and Danson, the most charming hosts. A wonderful afternoon spent in the Pub reading, and enjoying the ambience, warmth and history of the Post House and it was a "give that girl a G&T," and "not a bells" moment, as tradition is meant to be broken. Danson makes the perfect G & T. The bed very comfortable and decor in room as aesthetically pleasing and luxurious. Janet and John the owners most welcoming and all staff friendly and helpful. Loved the proximity to walking to dinner and the safety of exploring on foot. Dinner at Abbey Rose a gastronomical delight with a heavenly lemon cheese cake tongue-talizer; whilst the perfect wood-fired pizza enjoyed at Rupert's Bistro, and made by Rupert himself. Pop over to Graeme Bramley at the Old Coach House for a work of art and the most exquisite bespoke jewellery, I could not resist; and a stop at Von Geusau a must for a slab of chocolate or 3 of handmade Belgian chocolate. The Saturday market a great choice of eats, crafts and art, and not to be missed.
