The staff were very welcoming on our arrival. It was lovely to welcomed with room keys ready and directed straight to our rooms. We were walking Hadrians Way and this location is conveniently placed for the trail. Attentive and cheerful bar and restaurant staff, great breakfast and dinner. I can't recommend this place highly enough.

Great place to stay for anyone walking to wall. Good location, just a 40 min walk from the path, but worth it for a comfortable night. Warm. Good food downstairs. Good breakfast. Large room. Comfortable.
