Lovely old property, lots of character, each room individually decorated in a unique way. Evening meal was superb and staff very attentive. Fresh milk for the tea and coffee, sweet treats jar. Beautiful entrance hall and staircase

The breakfast was great, although the portion size for the vegan breakfast was small. Tea and coffee was great, the staff are very welcoming and friendly. Amazing rooms and splendid gardens.

What a fantastic hotel at a great location. Met by friendly, attentive and welcoming reception staff who gave a brief history of the hotel and our room. Our room was stunning - beautiful decor with an abundance of style, quality and comfort. Beautiful roll top bath, great shower, four-poster bed and a nice view. In addition to the selection of tea's/coffee was a "snack station" with additional biscuits/sweets/crisps/tea's and milk. Our evening meal was great, great food & service in a beautiful dining room - all very classy and smart. Staff were welcoming, pleasant throughout our stay - thank you all. Before leaving we had a walk in the grounds which was pleasant enough.
