The staff are the hotel's biggest asset as they are so friendly and helpful. They were able to recommend places to eat locally (all of which were excellent) and give information on local places to visit. The garden is lovely and, as the weather was beautiful, we sat out there every day with the choice of undercover or under the trees. Our rooms were in the newer block and were comfortable and quiet with every facility you might need.

Outwardly the hotel is a very attractive Georgian property with an adjacent building in which I was housed. Good sized room and fairly quiet.
