From arriving we were given the warmest welcome by the owner Sue - We had arrived early but were given a tour of some of the other bedrooms before they became occupied and each one was furnished and decorated beautifully - the location is superb with free parking - the lunch and breakfast were excellent - there is something special about this hotel and we can't wait to visit again

Room and bathroom very well renovated. There was no elevator available and that was a little of a problem. They helped us with our suitcases when we got in the room, but leaving the room we did not call them to help and tried our selves. Breakfast very good. Rich and tasty. We had dinner in the restaurant and enjoyed very much.

Excellent breakfast. Lovely staff who were very helpful. The setting is gorgeous and a great base for touring Yorkshire.
