We stayed in one of the junior suites and it was beautiful. Nice and spacious, very clean and had everything you needed to have a comfortable stay. The bathroom was gorgeous and the free standing bath did not disappoint. I was in two minds as I upgraded my room as to whether I'd made the choice and Mike the owner was amazing about it and even showed me one of the other rooms on arrival to make sure I was happy with my booking. He was a wonderful and very welcoming host, it makes a world of difference having someone that makes you feel at ease straight away. Our living room/small balcony was super cosy, perfect for our night in. The living room came equipped with a fridge which is also a must for us as my bf had type1 diabetes and his insulin needs to be refrigerated. The whole layout of the suite and the decor was very tranquil and peaceful and was very well thought out. It's tge little touches that make it feel like a home away from home and we definitely felt this. We'll be sure to stay here again in the future. Thank you 😊

The room for perfect for a solo male, would have been great for a couple too. Bathroom was a highlight. A bathtub and separate show stall. Bed was comfort. View from rear room of the mountains was lovely. The walk into the village was nice and only about 5 minutes. Perfect location.

We booked a basic room and on arrival we were upgraded free of charge which was a bonus as the upgraded room was extremely nice, clean and comfortable. We were also surprised to see the owner also working hard in the perfect coffee shop ‘Freda+Ray’ which has the best coffee in Grasmere and we were given 10% off the bill which again is a nice touch. Can’t fault any part of the accommodation, owner or trip 🥰.
