The location and size were great. The interior was a little dated and could do with a refresh in painting and furniture and bathrooms

The house its self is beautiful inside and out. If you love old houses, this has character, country charm and amazing views. It was imperfectly perfect for us. Very private, lovely garden to the side with the sound of a river running close by. Very good location for Grasmere and plenty of pubs and restarsunt it has to offer. We didn't get chance to try the Yan restarsunt next door but it looked good and I believe they can deliver to the house if you order ahead.

Nice house and view. Great walks starting out from the house. Great space, layout and room sizes, ample parking space for numerous cars.
