Charming building which was clean and characterful throughout. All staff were wonderful - so lovely to be offered coffee and ice cream on arrival. We were also pleased that we took up the offer of being cooked a delicious 3 course evening meal just for the 4 of us, which also catered specially for a vegetarian. A short walk from the water too. Fabulous experience all round!

This is the most charming hotel we stayed in during our 3-week trip. The minute you get in the door you feel like you're in a museum that takes you back in time. We had gotten a message that we could book a table to dinner but because we were riding all day we didn't think we would get to the hotel in time for dinner. From other guests we heard that the dinner was lovely so we are a bit sad we missed out on this. Breakfast buffet was also nice. Make sure you wonder through all the different rooms and enjoy the decor.

Andrea is a fantastic host and owner of this historic place which is almost 350 years old. Highly recommended to join the 3 course dinner she is offering for her guests at 19:00h where you can also learn a lot about the history of the guest house and the village.

Super guesthouse- traditional, quaint, calm. Recommend having the three-course dinner, wonderful atmosphere and excellent hosts who told us about the history of the hotel. Little pub open on weekends. Highly recommend!
