The cottage was lovely, we had everything we needed…it was warm and comfortable…plenty of tea bags and coffee…huge amount of breakfast…

The annex was well equipped and suited all our needs. The Crown & Anchor is a fabulous place and the food was exceptional. We can fully recommend this place to everyone, staying or not.

We were unable to reserve a table for dinner at our preferred time due to prior bookings (it is a busy place) but we were accommodated later in the evening. The continental breakfast was very good and met our expectations.

Highly recommend from the moment we arrived to the moment we left, had excellent service, clean, polite, friendly and amazing facilities. The evening we arrived they were fully booked for food but still manage to squeeze us in so we could have some food. The meal was very big , the taste and quality of the food was amazing. If we need to go back up any time, I will definitely rebook here if it’s available. Well done 5 stars all round and thank you so much for making us feel so welcomed xx

I travel regularly for work, and this little apartment was so much more 'home from home' than a standard hotel room. It is a simple pleasure, but the difference between sitting on a sofa to watch TV and relax in the evening, compared to having to sit in bed all evening (as per most hotels) is huge! The desk was also perfectly good for working on a laptop. The continental breakfast was more than adequate, with plenty provided and plenty of choice. The pub was also very good for my evening meal, with a nice atmosphere, friendly staff and quick service. I would certainly use it again if in the area.
