Clean and comfortable period hotel in pleasant historic part of the town. Friendly and helpful staff. Nice period lounge for guests to use and garden area. Easy parking nearby, with good restaurants. Sunday lunch at the Angel and Royal was superb. Piccola Venezia was also excellent.

Location was great as a stopover on our way further north. Beds were very comfortable and the shower in the triple room was enormous!
