Just 50 metres from a sandy beach in the resort of Kato Gouves, the family run, 4-star Blue Aegean Hotel & Suites offers an outdoor pool, a childrens’ pool and self-catering apartments with a seating area.
All apartments at the family-run Blue-Aegean, housed in 8 different buildings, are decorated with bright colours, wooden furnishings and open out to a balcony. They feature a kitchenette with fridge, microwave and kitchenware.
Guests can start their day with the buffet breakfast, served daily in the dining area. The on-site restaurant offers traditional Greek cuisine and, locally sourced, nutritional Mediterranean menus prepared with olive oil, local herbs, fresh vegetables and fruits. The food was just amazing at the hotel. The room was clean. The receptionist and also the other staff were very kind. The property's playground was very safe

I start with the best thing, the food was amazing at the hotel. I also heard from other guests that they returned here because of the delicious meal. We spend a lot of time at the property's playground with our children. We also had an own jacuzzi next our apartment.

Good location, close to Heraklion city and the Airport (15min drive), the beach, supermarkets, etc. The staff is very kind. The food during breakfast and dinner was very good as well, with a mixture of international and Greek dishes.
