The accomodation is next to a temple, a bit outside the center of Fukue, but still close to everything in a walkable distance. The surroudings are quiet and beautiful. The house is super comfortable, clean and in traditional japanese style. Ohnishi san is really kind and always available to help, and her cats are so cute! Definetely recommended, if I have the chance I will come back again! :-)

Super helpful host (she picked us up and dropped us off at the ferry). Also had bikes for hire (cheaper and much more convenient than other options as they were right outside our door). Gaveh helpful tips re where to eat and booked them for us.Super clean and comfortable.

The house is very clean and carm. The staff is very kind.. There is a wide bathroom and 2 toilets.

We had a wonderful stay at Oteragoto on Fukue, it was one of the most charming places we’ve stayed in over 2 months in Japan! In particular, the room was very large, the bathroom was like having a private sento, the e-bikes allowed us to cycle across the whole island, and most of all Onishi was the best host. She was able to make us restaurant reservations, allowed us to check out late, and even drove us to the airport.
