Please note that the reception is located on Vegagatan 21.If you expect to arrive outside check-in hours, please inform Backpackers Göteborg in advance.Towels are not included. You can rent them on site for SEK 30 per person or bring your own.Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.

A good hostel overall. The only reason I gave it a 9, and not a 10 is because of bed safety issues, but everything else is great! The staff is great snd helpful, and sometimes they organize group events for the guests (like yoga and pub crawls). The kitchen is very big, as well as the eating area - there are 3 fridges, and one big freezer, so there's really enough space for everyone's food, and two big stove tops (so 8 stoves in total), and multiple sinks. They also have a separate area where you can get the hostel breakfast. There are enough toilets and showers, so there will always be at least one that's free. They also have an iron (no steam) and a small ironing table in the hallway, which is really helpful. The hostel is also very close to the center, and a 3 min walk from a big park and the Natural history museum. Rooms are small, but there is really no need for them to be bigger (maybe only for the ceiling to be higher). Excluding the safety issue explained below, beds are quite comfortable. Each bed also has a curtain, a dimmable reading light, and two plugs (or a normal plug and a USB plug). The reception works 24/7, which is also great!

lockable bathrooms with toilets, available fridge to use in the common kitchen, helpful staff. nice location and I felt really safe as a solo female traveller too.
