The property was perfectly located for climbing Scafell Pike. It stayed cool in the heat. It had a bath so we could soak away our aches and pains. The hosts provided a couple of extra eggs for our breakfast when we asked. The location was beautiful and the animals made it feel very Beatrix Potter.

From the moment we arrived at Rainors, we knew we were in for something special. Beautiful lication and views, the cottage offered the perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comfort. We loved bbq just outside the door. The cottage was bigger than we expected, clean, beautifully decorated, and well-equipped. The kitchen had everything we needed and the complimentary welcome basket with fresh eggs was a thoughtful touch, thank you Clare! We highly recommend Rainors cottage to anyone looking for a relaxing stay in the Lake District. Five stars, without hesitation! We will definitely be coming back 😊
