Louise “Peaceful and surprisingly comfortable”

The cabins are on a wider eco campsite with geodomes, static bell tents, a camping field and RV parking, situated on a cliff looking out over the fastnet rock above Goleen village (just a short walk away to pubs, a small general store and a chippy. Our cabin was compact but perfectly formed and we spent two nights there. The pull down bed was comfy and the linens and towels clean and fresh. The small kitchen area had everything we needed including tea, coffee, sugar, oil and seasoning which was a nice touch. There was plenty of crockery, cutlery and glasses. The shower in the bathroom was fabulous although as the site runs on solar, the shower ran cold on the second morning but it wasn’t a big deal. We could have waited for the solar to kick in but we had to leave early. Mat who checked us in was around and always made sure we had everything we needed. All in all we had a great stay and it was incredibly peaceful.

Goleen Harbour is a fabulous place. If you are looking for a relaxing atmosphere by the sea, then look no further. Our cabin had everything we needed - cooker, oven, shower, a comfortable bed - not to mention the stunning sea view. The surroundings are very quiet and we got to enjoy some peaceful and happy moments. We met Shawn on arrival and he was super nice, giving us a very warm welcome and telling us about some great things to do in the area.

The location is absolutely beautiful, we stayed in Fastnet cabin and it had great sea view. I was a bit concerned about heating as we visited in December but you can set up the thermostat to your liking and it was really warm and cozy. The cabin had great design and large windows that allow you take in all of the views. It was a fantastic experience
