The hotel's advantage is its friendly, helpful, and humble staff. The food is incredibly delicious and diverse, allowing even vegetarians to enjoy a variety of dishes. Summer in Bulgaria is very hot, and the lack of air conditioning is a bit of a disadvantage, but the rooms are still cool.

Hotel Horizont is tucked away in a peaceful pine forest—one of the original buildings in the Golden Sands resort, dating back to Bulgaria's communist era when it was owned by the Bulgarian Tourist Union (БТС). The feng shui of this place is beyond words: a rare and harmonious blend of sea breeze and forest tranquility that you can feel in every breath. For those who remember the Golden Sands as the true “Pearl of the Black Sea,” Hotel Horizont brings back the warmth of that nostalgic charm. Now family-owned, it has preserved the spirit of old-world hospitality. We vacationed here every year, and what keeps drawing us back is not just the beauty of the setting, but the truly exceptional owners, whose kindness and dedication make you feel not like a guest, but like family. Not to mention, this is by far the best value for money in the entire area.

The hotel is located in a beautiful place surrounded by trees and there is a quiet place. Also all meals were delicious and the staff, especially the administrator was very nice.
