“Pleasant but disappointing re facilities”

Nice location, great ocean view. Unfortunately the indoor pool and spa were closed for maintenance. Outdoor spa was open but not working. Bathroom spa also not working. No bubbles to be had anywhere. We were offered the use of indoor pool and spa in another hotel facility 10 min walk away.

Location, Booked a two bedroom apartment and used the second bed own for five of the fourteen days, plenty of room to get about, even when locked down for three days during the one in twenty year cyclone. The building has a backup generator and we had electricity all of the time. The indoor and outdoor pool is excellent and the other facilities, tennis court and bbq while not used looked great. The location is so close to the Burleigh township that it was easier to walk than try to get a park down town. The surf club is id3al for a morning coffee or ice cream after 10am when you have walked down the beach.
