We had the annex to the main house with a terrace looking over the lake. The location was great, beautiful views and peaceful. Lovely walk into the village and back.

A super half term stay with our dog and the kids in Pheasant Cottage. The cottage was comfortable and had everything we needed, although a high chair would have been handy for our almost-2-year-old. The location is great as a base for exploring the island and the farm is so nice and quiet. We were treated to a tour of the farm and the animals, as well as Kathy’s wool and loom (I’m a keen knitter/crocheter so bought some yarn). They helped us to get a cheaper ferry ticket to and from the island and were always quick to respond to any queries. Would highly recommend and be happy to visit again!
