Fabulous, friendly staff, so attentive and always smiling. We had the best food here out of our 2 week Africa trip, was absolutely beautiful. Very quiet and relaxing, wonderful room. The views and setting was so beautiful and tranquil.

While not far from the city, this peaceful setting surrounded by Kalahari bush is perfect for relaxing. The facilities are beautifully maintained and the design of the rooms is impressive. I can't recommend the breakfast enough, specially try the scrambled eggs. Cecilia took care of us and made sure we arrived safely to our next destination. Watching the wildlife walking just outside of the lodge at sunset was calming as well as opening the curtains at sunrise while having french press coffee in bed on a chill morning.

The rooms were amazing. They are so big, the shower is a highlight. After staying in may camps before, it was great to finally stay at a lodge again. The staff was very nice and cheerful. They took great care of us. The food was also wonderful. They served a menu with game and it was very tasty. The fireplace and the pool area are great to relax and the morning walk with the guide was very refreshing after driving so many hours.

We spent one night at the Africa Awaits Lodge in room number one. It was our last night before heading back to the airport. The lodge is located a few kilometers before the city of Gobabis and is very peaceful and beautiful. The entire property is well-maintained, and the room was clean and had everything we needed. The only thing we noticed was that the room temperature was a bit cold in the winter, both during the day and at night. Unfortunately, the air conditioning didn't have a heating function. However, there were three extra blankets that we could put on top of the regular blanket, which made it warm enough. The room was very spacious, with two sinks and a huge shower, and everything we needed. The Ottoman in front of the window was absolutely cozy, and we could watch the sunset and the waterhole from there or from the terrace. We had breakfast, lunch and dinner at the lodge, and everything was delicious. The staff, especially the manager Cecilia, were super nice and helpful. Cecilia even went the extra mile and called our car rental company to clarify something about the car return - that was really nice of her. We would have loved to stay longer. Absolutely recommended, and maybe we'll come back someday.
