The fine print
In response to feedback from guests the hotel has decided to protect privacy and stop offering automatic daily servicing of rooms. If guests staying for more than two nights want housekeeping it can be arranged upon request. For all guests a basket of fresh supplies will be placed outside room doors after the first night and replenished daily as required.Arrivals earlier than advertised check-in times are possible. Please contact the hotel prior to arrival for more information.You can use the hotel's car park on the morning of your arrival and park for up to one day after check-out.Please note guide dogs are allowed in the hotel.

Such a lovely hotel just outside the city, within a short walk to the centre of Gloucester. The hotel throughout was exceptionally clean and the bed very comfortable. What stood out the most was the wonderful hosts who, despite being busy, made sure we were well looked after. The breakfast was fabulous too! This is independently owned and as such, you get that extra touch of care and attention. A lovely property run efficiently and professionally by lovely hosts.

Staff were helpful. We liked the location with walking distance to the town centre. Our twin room had a microwave and mini fridge. There is also a kitchenette near Room 23 for guests to use. It has a hob, toaster, fridge, freezer, plates, bowls etc. The parking is at the back of the hotel. Turn into Hyde Road and look for several small faded red and white parking signs for Edward Hotel. They are all positioned low on the brick walls.
