We were visiting Peak District and chose this place expecting it will be convenient to get to the routes. It was. Kinder scout, Mam Tor was 25 min drive. But we also enjoyed local path Doctor’s Gate (that l liked the most), that you can start from the home door.We felt very much welcomed from the very first minutes meeting Alan. The home is very cosy, well equipped, exceptionally clean. Even windy morning did not stop us from having breakfast in the garden enjoying cosiness, nice plants and views. Thank you Alan and Carol!

We loved our stay in this lovely comfortable cottage and can see why guests come back time and again. The bed was so comfortable, the shower powerful with plenty of hot water and the kitchen well thought out and equipped. The location is perfect, so quiet yet within easy reach of local pubs and walking distance to Glossop town centre plus beautiful countryside walks from the doorstep. We were very lucky to be able to enjoy the gorgeous little garden with its deck chairs and picnic bench. I'm sure we'll be back.

We have stayed here before and loved it. Beautiful place and surroundings. Excellent,well equipped cottage and a cheeky bottle of wine on our arrival. This wine was very welcoming after our 5 hr journey from Essex.
