I love Gulabin. It’s delightfully quirky. The owners are new since I was last there several years ago and they’ve obviously made a big effort to get the place working efficiently. They were friendly and helpful too. The kitchen is small and can be chaotic if busy but it’s very well equipped. There’s huge dining room and the two lounges are very comfortable. It would be grand if they could find a way to include the cost of firewood in the booking as it’s a bit awkward if one set of guests pay for it and everyone benefits.

Fantastic location, great facilities, very clean, comfortable beds. The owners Tim and Helen are lovely, nothing is too much hassle for them and very attentive when required.

Location is perfect for a ski trip at Glenshee. The owners we exceptionally friendly and welcoming and made us feel very welcome.
