The fine print
Guests are recommended to book dinner in advance, if wishing to dine at Sawyers Restaurant.Due to location there is limited mobile coverage, Spark works well and Vodafone can be used by the lakefront. Also the last 9 km stretch of road to the property is unsealed.If you expect to arrive outside reception opening hours, please inform Kinloch Lodge in advance, using the contact details found on the booking confirmation.Please note that prepayments will incur a 2.5% surcharge. If you wish to pay by bank transfer, or EFTPOS on arrival, we can arrange a refund of the prepayment.

Amazing location, great restaurant, helpful staff. Also provided track transport. Room was small (fine for 2 but small for 3) but clean and comfortable. Perfect spot to start Caples/Routeburn track.

Magic setting, beautiful location. Breakfast with a view that was superb. I'd definitely return to spend more time here.

The food was excellent. The staff were delightful and very helpful. The position is was just amazing. I liked that they were very conscious of the environment so no silly little sachets of soap or other waste we're in the rooms. A fridge would have good but I'm sure if we'd asked they would have kept food cold for us.
