I was pleasantly surprised by this place. It was very homey and had a really friendly and comfortable vibe. There were bus stops nearby which could take you several neighbouring towns/areas. A car/ride is required to get up the Hidden Valley. I could also see the staff worked hard to clean the place every day.

Location was great, ample parking. Really loved the communal areas and the fact that there were so many communal areas. The upstairs toilets are nicer than the downstairs toilets because they are entirely self contained. BUT! Upstairs toilets tend to run out of hot water very fast. I ended up showering in freezing cold water. Dorms are a bit musty, I think they need some ventilation.

The hostel is well located for accessing the hills. The staff seemed helpful.
