Hotel Overview

A 25-minute drive from Fort William, Glencoe House offers accommodation in 10 acres of private gardens. There is free WiFi throughout the buildings, and free private parking on site.
The 8 Glencoe House suites are situated in the mansion house where you occupy your own wing of the historic building and enjoy panoramic loch and mountain vistas. One or two-bedroom suites are available, all boasting bathrooms with The Highland Soap Company products and a sitting room with period features. Breakfast and a candle-lit dinner are served at your private dining room table (Dinner at an additional charge), located in your suite.
Glencoe is known as the outdoor capital of the UK, and there are plenty of activities to keep guests entertained. There are walking routes nearby, as well as famous movie locations, the opportunity to sample our famous Scotch Whisky and breath taking scenery.
The Strathcona Lodges are our self-catering accommodation, a stone’s throw from the house itself. We have six one bedroom self-catering lodges each with a private walled decking with hot tub, and outdoor seating (minimum two nights stay). The ground floor comprises a large and comfortable sitting room with a wood burning stove, a fully equipped kitchen complete with cooking facilities, a luxurious bathroom with bath and separate twin-headed shower. An elegant staircase takes you to the first floor to your peaceful bedroom with an emperor size bed. A welcome Breakfast pack is included in the rate of stay, a selection of beverages and pre-prepared meals are available at an additional cost.

Suite 3 - This ground-floor room can be made as either a double or twin. A single bed can be added at an additional cost. A marble fireplace is featured in both the living room and master bedroom. The bathroom has a shower and twin free standing bathtubs. The suite also comes with a DVD player, CD player and sofa.

Suite 4 - Featuring sea and mountain views, this suite can be made as either a double or twin. A single bed can be added at an additional cost. The suite offers a marble fireplace, free standing bathtub, shower room and dining room.

Suite 5 - This suite with sea and mountain views features a private living room. There is also a dining room which can seat up to 6 guests and a separate work area with desk. In the lodges- everything you need is provided in a truly wonderful space. James showed us around and gave us a lot of insight into the history of the property which was fascinating. Great location for Glencoe!!

If you are planning a trip to this area of Scotland this is the hotel to stay at! The most stunning building with beautiful rooms and the most friendliest of staff. We stayed in one of the lodges with a hot tub (which was well needed after climbing Ben Nevis) and they are spacious, fully equipped with everything you need. So cosy. The food is incredible and the bed so comfy. Would definitely stay again.
