Such a treat to stay in a stately home. Secluded pretty spot very easy access to Loch Lomond and walks. Comfortable bed and good bathroom. Jacqueline was a kind host, full of character

This is a quirky place to stay. It is clearly a (very large) house rather than a hotel. So if you are after bland, standard furnishings, layout and arrangements this is probably not the right pick for you. But if you are after character, comfort and a bit of history then Park of Drumquhassle is a great choice. Our room was lovely and clean with a fantastic view across the grounds. We saw a deer whilst sitting in bed having our morning coffee! The bathroom was great with a huge bath that was an absolute treat. Jacqueline is definitely a host with character who really looked after us whilst we were there.

Characterful and a bit quirky. Not to everyone’s taste. In a wonderful location and close to fabulous scenery.
