Everything was exceptional. We received excellent service and the staff was incredibly responsive to all our needs. The location is superb, offering a front-row seat to the history of the city. The breakfast was delicious, and the atmosphere was very comfortable and cozy. The highlight of our stay was the fairy-tale peace and quiet; the singing of the birds at night, right in front of the Argjiro Castle, added a truly magical touch to the entire experience. It was an unforgettable stay.

We loved staying here! Guests will get a real authentic family experience! We felt so looked after by the family who run the Castle Hotel! Parking was provided slightly further down the road, and sits just on the edge of the Gjirokaster old town which is ideal! The room was a great size, and spotlessly clean. The shower was top notch and the bed was nice and cosy. We had the pleasure of having dinner at the hotel, and I must say, it was magical! The sunset from the restaurant terrace is hard to describe, you really have to see to see it for yourself! As for the food, well, it was magnificent! We had a selection from the menu, and it all came out on a platter board. Everything was amazing! Breakfast was much the same! If we ever return to Gjirokaster, we would love to stay again :)

The hotel was on the top of castle. Run by family. Free breakfast and parking which is quite difficult to find in old town. Even after our stay we got to keep the car at hotel. Host was supportive and suggesting places.

Just incredible, lovely, with stunning views. Very clean, spacious room, nice breakfast, good food in restaurant and really nice and helpful host. Great experience!!!
