There are wonderful homemade breakfasts. Landlords are so kind. The vine is good. The view to the mountains is wonderful. The room and the light there is cozy. We are very calm with this booking. Thank you!

We visited early in the season and found that some improvement works to the restaurant had been delayed so facilities were limited. However the host did offer us a meal which was welcome as the site is a little outside Gjirokaster. The accommodation was very good, spacious and comfortable. The en suite bathroom is also to a high standard . Esmeralda was the star who looked after us and we thank her again for her attention.

This place was our favourite stay in Albania. Marcelo and Anda are amazing hosts and made us feel welcome from the first moment. Everything we ate is farm to table and in every detail we can feel that they put love in what they do. The room was very clean and comfortable. We had the best sleep. The wine was incredible. The breakfast so generous. I can keep on going.. You leave this place with a warm feeling in your heart. Away from the over touristic areas but close to many beautiful sights. We wish you all the best and if you ever come to Crete we will be very happy to see you Marcelo and Anda!

The hosts were excellent, honestly the most caring hosts we have ever stayed with nothing was too much. It was such a special experience staying here eating their own home made food from the land and meeting the wonderful dogs and cats. The surroundings and setting on a sunny day would be difficult to beat! Honestly one of the best experiences we’ve had.

Marcel and his wife were so welcoming. Our room was beautiful, modern and very clean and comfortable. It was well heated with a beautiful view over their vineyard and towards the mountains. The bed was very comfy. There was a fridge in the room with drinks, and a kettle to make tea and coffee. The bathroom was very modern and clean, with a great shower and plenty of hot water. We had breakfast in their conservatory looking out over the vineyard. The food was absolutely delicious. I've never had a three course breakfast before! There was fresh bread, with delicious jam and creamy butter. Freshly prepared omelettes and crepes. We also ate there two nights, and the food was so good. We also really enjoyed a couple of bottles of their own wine. It was lovely to look out at the view, and watch the chickens and other animals. We will miss Rambo, his mum and Ricky the cat, such lovely animals. They really couldn't have done more to make our stay so special. We couldn't recommend highly enough.

I recently stayed at the Barrels and was thoroughly impressed! The rooms are beautifully modern. Waking up to the stunning views each morning was a highlight. The hosts went above and beyond, making me feel welcomed and well-cared for throughout my stay. Every detail, from the decor to the ambiance, made the place feel vibrant and unique. Highly recommend!

Amazing family who were super friendly and helpful. The rooms were really modern and clean, and the food was the best we had in Albania. Also the complimentary breakfast was really good with homemade butter and jam.
