Getting there (or anywhere in Gjirokastër) is challenging. But when we were stuck because of road construction, our host picked us up and drove us to the guest house. The whole family was so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was sublime and the location was great to walk towards the old city center. The room itself was also great and cozy. I have nothing but love for Guest House Denis. We enjoyed our stay a lot and would recommend anyone to stay here when travelling through this amazing country!

The accommodation was beautiful with an amazing view of the city of Gjirokastër. The breakfast was incredible, huge and delicious. The fruits and vegetables were from their garden. The hosts were very kind. I highly recommend!

The bed was comfortable and it was a spacious room. The bathroom was a good size with a large shower and great water pressure. The breakfast is unbelievable. We had toast with avocado and an egg, pastries, toast, assorted spreads, tomatoes, cucumber, olives, feta, fruit and orange cake. It was huge and delicious and served at a time that suits you. We had to leave early to get a ferry at Sarandë and had breakfast at 6.45am. The view from the breakfast terrace is amazing. The hosts are delightful. It is fairly steep and narrow to get there and we stopped just outside Guest House Denis and unloaded. The host then reversed our car back up to the parking spot. Restaurants and shops are not too far away.

Loved the breakfast, the view from the terrace, the kindness of the family, the very clean room, and the calmness! Was there with my family, and we will definitely go back again!
