This was one of the best places I have ever stayed on holiday. The location is truly excellent, very near to the castle and the old bazaar. The view from the windows and the terrace is truly breathtaking. It is near the top of the old town and you can look down on the stone roofs of Gjirokaster, or across the valley at the mountains beyond and feel like you are on top of the world. The host was very helpful and went out of his way to give us a lift to the property from the bus station. The property itself is a beautiful historic building and has been wonderfully furnished with lots of characterful furniture and artwork. It represents truly excellent value for money
