What a wonderful experience I had staying in this lovely historic house! I had it all to myself. It felt very indulgent. It's full of character, cool and quiet. A true delight. The quirky little nook underneath the house was a real treat. It's incredible value for money and in great location. If you're driving there, be prepared to navigate some of Gjirokaster's narrow, cobbled streets! The host was very friendly, helpful, quick to respond to queries, and so clearly proud of the traditional Gjirokaster house, which has been in his family for over 300 years old. 1800's may not be to everyone's liking, but I loved it, and I would stay again!

You get a whole villa for a very cheap price! The owners were so kind, and one of them even made a reservation for a bus ticket, and took me to the bus station, so that I could get to Berat!

Don't expect any modern luxury. Expect authenticity! This is an amazing old home near the city's touristic bazaar. Just a few (steep) steps away. Had a great stay.

What a beautiful place! Me my husband and our dog had a blast having for ourselfs the whole house and yards. In and out the villa makes you feel like you travel back in time living as the owners great-great parents did in 1800. Very nice experience and unique. Definatly recomend.
