My stay at Maison Nassimah was nothing short of wonderful. It was a bit of a hidden gem (and a bit tricky to find), but once you step through the gate, you're in a peaceful oasis of simple comfort. Nadia treated me like an old friend, and the food was incredible. If you're heading for Saqqara, this is the place to stay.

I had a great three-night stay at Maison Nassimah. The Moroccan style is really unique and makes the whole place feel like a quiet, peaceful escape. My room was very clean and comfortable, with a really cool design. A big thanks to Nadia and the staff for being so helpful. Nadia made everything easy and sorted out a taxi for me to visit Dahshur, while the Saqqara complex is actually close enough to walk to. The breakfast was a real highlight—it was delicious, filling, and gave me all the energy I needed to spend the day at the pyramids. I felt right at home here and would definitely come back!

Loved the rural location, felt very authentic, it was a green oasis away from the noise of Cairo, the hospitality was amazing with fabulous breakfast and home cooked authentic Egyptian food, even got adopted by one of the owners beautiful cats. We had a great couple of days here and it’s perfect for visiting the saqqara necropolis.

We really enjoyed our stay with Nadia, and even if the accommodation is a little out of the way, you can get to Sakkara relatively quickly by taxi and also a little further to the very worthwhile Red Pyramid and the Bent Pyramid. Every time you come back from an excursion, you have the feeling of returning to an oasis of calm. Everything is beautifully and lovingly laid out, Nadia is a great hostess and the food is delicious and the breakfast plentiful. We would definitely recommend this accommodation!
