Has staffed reception desk, feels secure, washing machine, very clean and spacious. Love the western/Japanese design. Our room had a small kitchenette with toaster, microwave and convection stove top. Great location. Right next to a convenience store too.

Room 301 Check in is at 3pm, not sooner. Definitely need to pre-register your details to receive QR code for check in (very easy). You’ll be emailed the day before with entrance code number & room number details (digital key pad) 2 x comfortable single beds + 1 couch that converts to an additional single bed. Split system heating & cooling which worked well Dining table with 4 chairs Small kitchenette with microwave + little convection oven Single burner electric hot plate Fridge & freezer combo 8 x coat hangers + 2 drawers Separate toilet to bathroom vanity & separate wet room with small, semi deep bath Lovely toiletries for showering (although no toothbrushing amenities or combs) in room No house keeping for our 3 night stay (can be requested for additional fee) Family Mart 2 doors down & Lawsons literally a 1 minute walk around the corner Onsen located in B1 of building (large, but shallow very hot pool, 1 small cold plunge pool, & a sauna). We booked it for private use for 90 minutes ($400 AUD). Was too hot for our 12 year old and kind of wasted on her. Gorgeous part of old Kyoto Spoilt with location - literally a 10 minute flat easy walk with cases from Sanjo train station
