The house was absolutely fantastic—modern, beautifully decorated, and spotlessly clean. We especially loved the relaxing bath after a day of sightseeing. Having two showers and toilets, both upstairs and downstairs, was extremely handy and made our stay even more comfortable. The location is peaceful, yet still an easy walk to the Gion district and city center. The host was very friendly and helpful, meeting us at the apartment to welcome us and show us around her home. We would definitely stay again and highly recommended for anyone visiting Kyoto!

The vibe and feel of this property is special and the host is really kind and helpful. The master bedroom really feels luxurious and comfortable and the rest of the home feels the same. I especially love the small garden and the light that comes into the property through the traditional doors. It's a beautiful place and my family really enjoyed coming home to this space. It really feels like Japan.

Yamamoto-san was an exceptional host. She greeted us during check-in and showed us around the area. The house is located in a quiet street yet near to the temples around Kyoto, great for sight seeing. The place is fully equipped for a family of 4 or 5. Walking distance to shopping district. Highly recommended!!
