It was a lovely small, characterful hotel, unlike the bigger hotels where we have been staying. It is not far from the train station in a quiet back street and you can catch a bus to the station two mins away or it’s a 25 min walk. There was a nice cafe two mins away and also a vegan cafe and take away for those who don’t eat meat. We had a great spacious room with a separate kitchen area and really useful washing machine. The staff couldn’t be more helpful and friendly. Highly recommended.

had a lovely stay here during my birthday trip to Japan. The front desk staff were warm and welcoming, and I was touched to find a birthday gift waiting for me on arrival. The location is convenient - about a 15-minute walk from Kyoto Station and close to several beautiful temples. After a week and a half of travelling, having a washing machine on-site was a real bonus. Highly recommend for the thoughtful service and great location.

Excellent location with walking distance to public transport. Kitchenette and washing machine right in the room was convenient. The staff was very nice.
