A completely positive truly Icelandic experience. Terrific host who provided delicious food but also allowed us full access to his kitchen for an extra dish we prepared.

It's worth coming just to meet Saemi, the host A very kind and interesting person. Great conversation. A very special place. We were welcomed with tea, coffee and waffles, cream and jam, and then a bonus free dinner of homemade soup and bread. House was very traditional, yet well kept. Nice and clean rooms and comfy beds! Great view too! One of our best nights in Iceland .

Me and my wife stayed for one night. Our host invited us for a nice dinner on a big table with all other guests. He was telling us a bit obout his life and activities in the area. The guesthouse and the rooms are very clean. After dinner we hopped in the hotpot and enjoyed the evening at the house. In the morning we got three different kind of deli porrige and waffles. If we would have known that the place is so cosy we would have stayed longer. The host is really a very kind person.

Great location with a number of items of interest in immediate area. Very comfortable room, which is upstairs. Pleasantly surprised when host provided us with home cooked dinner as well as an excellent breakfast.
