I booked on a recommendation despite having reservations about the place. I admit I am a snob and prefer luxury accommodation and this is not a place a would have picked for myself. After a few days to climatise and settle in, I was very comfortable here. It is basic and simple but considering the island location, the place is great. The rooms are clean and tidy. What made this place so great is the staff - they were friendly, helpful and did everything possible to accommodate me; which included climbing the tree outside my room to pick fresh mangos for breakfast. The location is perfect, just off the main street which was close to the medical facilities, shops and restaurants. It was only a few minutes walk away from the port and ideal for walking everywhere on the island. They also assisted with providing a laundry service midway through my holiday. I stayed for 3 weeks and will happily rebook this place when I go back again.

I slept well. Right in the middle of the restaurant shopping strip. 10 minted to walk to the beach. The staff was super friendly. I would stay there again.

For the price you are paying to stay on gili air in a private room with an en suite shower room you cannot complain to much. The room and shower room were clean, the staff, like everyone I've met whilst in Indonesia, were kind and helpful. Pancakes and fruit for breakfast was nice. A sort walk from the port and in the centre of the town, which was very quiet at night. Walk to anywhere on the island within 20 minutes or so.

Perfect! The family and staff were extremely welcoming and helpful and breakfast was very nice. Location right by the harbor and close to everything. We rented their bikes cheap and used them to see the island which we recommend. Nothing bad to say
