The villa is set in an excellent location. Papaya beach club does great food but the best place to go for BBQ is Sudibou. The villa has a beautiful inside out socialising area and is well decorated and serviced. Located on the sunset side of the island it is great for chilling with some sundowners just 50 yards from the villa. The staff were so friendly and helpful when we needed them. We sadly didn't get as much use out of the villa as we thought as we spent much of our time on the beaches of which they are all stunning. It was nice to come back and dip in the pool and chill.

This Villa is stunning for a small island like Gili Air. It's beautifully laid out, is a great size and has been furnished beautifully. It's open living style is unique and it is a stunningly designed property. Once the gates to the property are closed you truly feel like you're completely on your own. The rooms were extremely comfortable, all with air-con and en-suites. The staff are really friendly and helpful. They offered a laundry service which was excellent and they booked a private boat for us to go snorkelling around the best spots on the 3 Gili islands. They were always available to communicate with on WhatsApp and were attentive constantly ensuring we were wanting for nothing. The location, we felt, was on the best part of the island. This island is amazing but the stretch we were on is second to none! The local restaurants are all great and we sat on the local beach with a beer or cocktail to watch the sunset every evening. A previous review we saw gave a terribly unjustified low score - you cant come to an island like this expecting a city 5 star apartment, nor are they charging city 5 star prices!! - a small, rustic, magical island like Gili Air will not deliver this. True, there are one or two areas of the villa that could use a small amount of TLC which would make a big difference but this does not affect the open minded traveller who would love the island, the location and accept the villa for the wonderful piece of paradise that it is! Would highly recommend!

Location was excellent. The villa itself was ok, rooms were big, each had it's own bathroom. The staff was very helpful.
