Maris “Rural B&B with friendly owner and friendly cats”

The owner - Sylvia - was very welcoming. She shared with us tips on what to see, what to visit, where to eat, and her advices were great. She also prepared very good breakfasts. Sylvia is also taking care of one old dog and 8 - 10 friendly cats, hence do not be surprised if your breakfast takes longer as you are busy cuddling one of the cats. The room itself was big enough, but the bathroom is on smaller size. There are also some even bigger rooms on the property, with views of surroundings. B&B is in a rural setting, with different flowers and plants in internal courtyard and olive trees behind the building. Overall, we were quite happy with the choice and would consider returning.

Sylvia is a welcoming host and she makes an amazing breakfast. The setting is very convenient for Rythmno and the key sites around the area. The suites are very spacious and, while we didn't use the pool, it looked very inviting.

Magical place. It is really quiet and nice. Very close to Rethymno but in a nice, quiet location. The room and the whole building is nicely decorated. The hosts are wanderful and hospitale as well. Next time we visit Crete will stay there again. We loved every minute there.

The building is fascinating. It was like living in a novel but with all the comfort. The hosts are super and friendly nice and Sylvia is an excellent cook. The position is also fine, close to the sea and the town.
