David was a wonderful host and made us feel very much at home. It's definitely a place where you'd want to spend more time at the lodge itself than doing things elsewhere. The bar and entertainment area is amazing and "Stokkies" tge steenbok graced us with her presence. David also has a beautiful lodge dog who welcomes you with open paws. All in all, it was an amazing stay and a great breakfast(my son adored tge bacon). Just wished we spent a su.mer day or two enjoying the lodge pool, bar and entertainment area.

It was the second time that we stayed in this great lodge. It always feels like a second home. You feel like you're among friends, and the atmosphere is very warm. It's a little paradise on the outskirts of a big city.

Hi we stayed here for one night after a flight from London. We really enjoyed staying here. It’s like a little oasis around 15-20mins from the airport. It’s safe and well maintained. There is a small parcel of land and I see some ibis/ebis birds, tortoise and a gems bock. They have a lovely friendly dog called whisky too! Davide and his wife really make you feel so welcome and they were kind and gave us a lift to the mall. Which is around 500m or so from the property and we walked back. We took the half board option and Davide built us a fire as well as cooked us a braai with a huge steak and delicious lamb. Our room no.6 was on the ground floor and a separate chalet style. It was comfortable and had everything we needed as well as a big outdoor space outside the room and multiple areas around the property. Great place to stay. Would definitely recommend staying here rather than one of the big hotels near the airport.
